Thank you for considering The Holiday Inn Centre of Vermont for your upcoming wedding. To assist you with the details of your wedding, we would like to inform you of the following:

CERMONY LOCATION

The Holiday Inn Centre of Vermont offers several ceremony sites that blend perfectly with your wedding experience. We are happy to make all the rental arrangements from tent to chairs and to prepare and set-up the site. If you choose to have an outdoor wedding ceremony as a safety measure we will schedule an indoor site.

OUTDOOR WEDDING CEREMONY LOCATIONS

The Holiday Inn Centre of Vermont has an outdoor location you may use for your wedding, The South Lawn
25-300 persons
Fee: $200
This location offers you and your guests the unique experience of an outdoor ceremony during the spring, summer and fall months. Set up of the ceremony location will include chairs and a wedding archway. White rental chairs may be ordered per your request.

INDOOR WEDDING CEREMONY LOCATIONS

The Green Mountain Room
25-140 persons
Fee: $100
The warmly decorated Green Mountain Room will give you and your guests a perfect wedding ceremony location. With it’s close proximity to the foyer area and your reception room it offers the perfect location to tie the knot.

The Centre of Vermont Ballroom
25-300persons
Fee: $200
The large Centre of Vermont Ballroom offers flexible room sizes based on your number of guests. You may choose the entire ballroom or sections within the ballroom for your treasured ceremony.

THE COCKTAIL RECEPTION

Cocktail receptions can be held in one of our outdoor areas or in our Vermont Marble foyer area with built-in bar. As every wedding is custom tailored, we are happy to discuss any ideas you may have. Traditionally, cocktail receptions are scheduled for one to one and one half-hours.

WEDDING RECEPTION LOCATIONS

The Centre of Vermont

Ballroom Fee: $1,500
One Half Ballroom Sections: $750 each
The Centre of Vermont Ballroom is our largest indoor setting. This spacious high-ceiling room, with many design options offers you and your guests a comfortable location to dance the night away.

The South Lawn
50-200 persons
Fee: $300
This quaint outdoor setting surrounded by nature is the hidden gem at the Holiday Inn Rutland/Killington. Available for daytime and evening functions held until 10PM. A tent for this location is highly recommended. Tent rental not included in fee.

RECEPTION TIMES

Our function space is available based on your needs, however we advise your reception be the standard six (6) hours. One hour for the cocktail hour and 5 hours for the reception. Start and end times are flexible and extended reception hours are available upon request. Access to functions rooms prior to the stated times for decorating, (decorating time is not subject to a surcharge) is based on availability.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE

Our executive chef Scott Clark has over 20 years of full-service wedding catering experience. We will customize your menu to your special tastes. Whether it be decadent hors d’oeuvres, elegant buffets or plated entrees we will make every bite count. Join us for a complimentary menu tasting, then share your favorite family recipes so we can make your old traditions part of your new family.

Our menu prices do not include 10% Vermont State Meals Tax or 18% gratuity. Please add this to your final menu selections for the total price. Please see the enclosed wedding menu for further information.

Final menu selections are due 4 weeks prior to your wedding date. The final number of attendees and all final entrée selections are due 5 business days prior to your wedding date. This number will be considered a firm final count and will not be subject to reduction.

WEDDING CAKES

We encourage you to bring in your own wedding cake. We will provide you with our vendor listing of local bakers to assist in this selection. We also have several dessert options if you choose not to have a traditional wedding cake for your event. Your wedding cake will be cut and served following your dinner at no additional charge.

SET UP

The Holiday Inn Centre of Vermont will gladly give you access to your reception or ceremony rooms prior to your event based on availability. Please notify your wedding coordinator with the time of your arrival, as staff may be available to assist you.

The Holiday Inn Centre of Vermont can not be responsible for any items left in our function rooms.

You are welcome to bring your own alphabetically organized place cards or master list of names and table locations. If you are having a sit-down meal, entrée selections must be clearly written on each card. This ensures the proper amount of food has been prepared for your reception.

All items needed for decoration, guest favors, cameras, menu cards, cake cutters, toasting glasses or other items for your reception are due prior to your wedding day. A meeting with our wedding coordinator and banquet manager will be scheduled so you may go over final details and give all wedding items.

WEDDING VENDORS

The Holiday Inn Centre of Vermont works with many local wedding service vendors. Customarily wedding couples have chosen to select their own florist, photographer, videographer, cake baker, transportation and entertainment. We do provide a listing of local vendors, but can not guaranteed availability or be responsible for any individual wedding service vendor.

Please consider providing a meal for your wedding service vendors. Most do require a meal in their contract and we are pleased to provide a meal for each vendor. Your vendors must be included in your final meal counts. Customarily the wedding vendors are offered the same meal as your guests.

OVERNIGHT ROOMS FOR YOUR GUEST

We are pleased to offer your guests a discounted overnight lodging rate just for your wedding.
Please have your guests call 800-462-4810 after your wedding has been booked for lodging information.

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS

Once you have decided that the Holiday Inn Centre of Vermont is the right location for your wedding we will happily send you one of our wedding contracts. The contract which includes lodging rates for your guests, a wedding day schedule and information about cancellations and payments will need to be signed and returned within 14 days will an initial deposit. This deposit is non-refundable if cancellation occurs six months or less prior to the function.

After the initial deposit a payment schedule will be sent to you with details of each payment and when it is due. All payments must be completed prior to your wedding date based on the final number of attendees. Acceptable methods of payment are approved check, cash, money orders, certified cashiers check or credit card.
